English language theatre at St-Bruno's Centre Socioculturel
On Friday and Saturday the 16th & 17th April 1999
Théâtre St-Bruno Players presented «London Suite»,
American playwright Neil Simon's vintage comedy/drama.
It comprised four stories of human relationships which unfolded as
different groups of guests stayed in a London, England hotel suite.
A total of some 300 theatre-goers attended the two performances packing the
theatre to capacity, and making it a very rewarding production.
The acting members were:
Settling Accounts:
Ron Trumper and Roy Abraham
Going Home:
Elaine Houle & Margaret Abraham
Diana & Sidney:
Tatiana Lobanok, Sandra McCallum & Bill Gubbe
The Man on the Floor:
R.J.Ménard, Stephanie O'Regan, Lelia Columb,
Mike Little & Andrew Trumper
The play was directed by Lois Dimoff & stage managed by Anne Little.
The set was designed by Roy Abraham & lighting design was by Peter Crooks.
They were assisted by a support team of some twenty other members and friends
working backstage and front of house.
The recently formed south shore wind quartet "Les vents de la montagne" entertained
our patrons with an interlude of classical chamber music during the interval.
Congratulations to all the actors, backstage & FOH on another very successful play.
Thanks also to the Mayor and the cultural department of town of St-Bruno for the great
support given to us during rehearsals and throughout the production week.
We hope that all our new found audience will all return and bring
all their friends for our next production in the week of the 12th November.
This production will mark the start of our 25th anniversary season.
regards..........David McCallum producer
